How we find your dream car

1: Give us a call and we’ll give you all the free advice you need to get the ball rolling. Even if you’re 100% sure you know what you want, why not drop us a line. It’s always good to check your workings.

2: We then work out what exactly what you want – we’ll send you our easy-to-use “Coach House Automotive Consulting Buy The Best Car” questionnaire.

3: We then search the whole of the UK car market to find what you’re looking for, creating a shortlist and some guidance to go with it. 

4: We check out the “chosen one” and if it’s a used car we ensure it is as described and is in line with what we would expect of that model, given its age and mileage. We’ll also undertake a detailed provenance check to make sure there are no skeletons in its closet.

If a separate mechanical inspection is required, (and we strongly recommend that this is done in certain circumstances), this can be arranged and negotiated on your behalf using our trusted network of approved inspectors.

If the car is new, we’ll check it’s available, or the lead time is confirmed and the specification is agreed. Not always a given.

5: Once you select “the one”, we negotiate hard (and we mean hard) on your behalf. When it comes to doing the deal we have no shame. After all, if we don’t ask, you don’t get.

Our real super-power throughout the process is that we remain detached and objective on your behalf, allowing you to just enjoy the high points of buying a car, without experiencing the lows. Occasionally that means walking away from what your heart is telling you is your perfect car, because our heads know we can find something better.

6: Part of the deal is how to structure the purchase and fund it. We can even help there, because we are able to refer clients to a number of different finance companies via a trusted broker who can advise on the best possible finance methods, for businesses and consumers.

We can also help you arrange a best-in-class warranty, if required, at rates that are highly attractive in comparison to the heavily marked-up options offered by some retailers.

7. We then arrange hand over and or delivery*. That’s the fun bit, and we want you to enjoy that bit as much as we do.

* Delivery can be arranged at £2.50 per mile (assuming it can’t be negotiated as part of the deal)
